Minor League (AA) is open to boys and girls who are baseball age 7 and 8 (a player’s age as of August 31^st of the current calendar year is used to determine “baseball age”).  Minor league baseball continues with the fundamentals learned during farm league but introduces umpires and uses a combination of coach pitch and player pitch.  All players are given equal playing time covering all positions, but as outs are introduced to the players, the amount of at bats can vary from game to game (a continuous batting order is used).
