Major League is open to boys and girls who are baseball are 10, 11 and 12 (a player’s age as of August 31^st of the current calendar year is used to determine “baseball age”).  Players must participate in an evaluation to participate in Majors.  Evaluations are typically held in the Fall with an indoor make-up date scheduled during the winter.  Children who have reached a baseball age of 12, or those who were rostered on a Majors team the previous season do not have to tryout.  There are weekly team practices as well as 2 to 3 games per week.  The teams are composed of children from Northborough, but the regular season includes games against teams from both Northborough and Southborough.  All teams qualify for the playoffs which will be against teams from Northborough only.
