The Northboro-Southboro Girls Softball Program is dedicated to creating a positive sporting and social environment where the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty and fair play are core, with secondary importance placed on winning. Our goal is for each player to have fun while gaining a rewarding softball experience and developing skills in fast-pitch softball. In 2012 NBSA decided to join with Southborough Softball in mixing teams together at all levels. We have developed this strategy to have the girls join together and play at a younger age because they will inevitably be playing together at Algonquin Regional High School.
We offer Fall and Spring seasons. We also offer Winter and Summer clinics.
The Fall season begins at the end of August and continues through October. There is one practice a week and one game on the weekend.
The Spring season begins late March and runs through late June including playoffs. One practice during the week, one game during the week and one on the weekend.
It is VERY important to register on time to determine appropriate number of teams, divisions and game schedules. Help from additional adult volunteers is needed and always welcome. We are always looking for coaches and assistant coaches.
