Northborough baseball teams with players aged 13 through 16-years-old play their home games on the "Big Diamond” at our recently renovated Memorial Field. In recent years, Northborough has fielded teams in the 495 League (Babe Ruth rules), which typically has two divisions (13-14, and 14-16 - those born between 5/1/2004 and 8/31/2008). The number of players registered and the break-down in ages will determine the number of teams and division(s) that are most appropriate for those teams.
The season will run 6-7 weeks starting late April and run throughout most of June (including Playoffs). Season includes 12 games (typically 2 per week with one on weekends and one during the week) with a practice during the week too. Games are against 495 area towns to limit travel.
Typically, this age group faces several potential conflicts such as Middle School, High School and club teams. However, we are asking anybody that has interest in playing to register now, as we need to register teams as soon as possible, but no later than the end of March. If conflicts arise after you register, we can work with you on scheduling and/or a refund.
The league details can be found on the 495 League website
